I had rosacea for about 5 years before I decided to finally go in and get laser treatment done. I was hoping for a miracle, and that was what I got. My face was no longer red, it was amazing! The only bad part about it was that the redness started to come back a little bit about a year and a half after the treatment. The results are not permanent so you may need to go a few times every couple of years. It really is worth it though to look normal.

I WENT TO A MD SPA AND THE NURSE THERE, TRACIE IS A MAGICIAN. SHE USED A COMBINATION OF LASER GENESIS AND IPL TO FIX MY ACNE AND REDNESS. SHE THEN HIT MY VEINS AROUND MY NOSE AND CHECKS INDIVIDUALLY. MY FACE IS 98% CLEARED. I CAN STILL FLUSH WHEN DRINKING RED WINE OR DURING A SPIN CLASS BUT I'M THRILLED WITH MY RESULTS. I HAVE NO ACNE AND MY SCARRING IS ALMOST COMPLETELY GONE. SHE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING! I WOULD RECOMMEND TRACIE AND IPL ANYDAY! DO NOT DO ACCUTANE, IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME.

My Rosacea had gotten worse with age so I decided to see a dermatologist for treatment. Paying close to $400 a treatment, I thought I would see a difference. After I left, my skin felt smoother. But after a couple of days, my skin eventually went back to normal. I figured I'd see a difference after a period of time so I went back for 4 more treatments and now my skin is still the same. I'm still living with the redness and acne looking appearance. I never went back.

I just want to say that getting laser treatment for my rosacea was the best decision that I have ever made. I finished my treatments over a year ago and the redness and bumps are still gone! Absolutely happy with the results!

Laser was recommended by my Dermatologist. After 4 treatments the technician couldn't understand why my condition was not improving and brought in the physician, who stated "We'll get under control eventually". At $300 a treatment when is evevntually? I had one more treatment and quit.
I'm a male, and the Laser was like ripping off my skin if I hadn't shaved REALLY close. It was of course burning the hair follicles down to the root.
I wouldn't do it again, and the worst part is now I can't grow a decent beard to hide the Rosacea. Basically I'm turning into a Lizard face, at 45.
