    • Rosacea is a difficult problem to treat. Successful treatment  requires extensive knowledge and understanding of the skin. It's important to see a physician, preferably a dermatologist, whose core training involves the skin. Do not seek care from someone who is not medically trained or who does not have medical supervision. Receiving the wrong treatment can worsen your symptoms. 

    Questions to Ask Before Treatment

    • Are you a board-certified physician?
    • Is there a board-certified physician of any kind in the office?
    • What's your medical speciality?
    • Do you have the ability to use lasers?
    • How much experience do you have at performing this treatment?
    • Are there alternative treatments which may be more effective for my skin?
